| Commissioned to create a groups of personal check designs, these 6 designs were chosen for the "Check-Toons" collection. Checks are a challenge in that the artwork must be more horizontal than vertical and the final design will be "screened back" per bank regulations. These ideas also had to carry a broad market appeal for check writers both male and female of all age groups. | For this Patient Brochure, humorous illustration was used to both explain the process and lighten the mood. After all, we are talking about needles, blood and surgeries. On the top of the cover panel (shown on right), the spokesman is introduced along with the subject.
Below you can see the sequential steps of the process, each simplified and illustrated for the general public. The client was very pleased with the final results as was the design company which requested my services. I am happy to work directly with a client or through an agency or designer. It's all about find what works. Sometimes the client has ideas sometimes they leave that up to me. |

| After seeing the success of the first set of illustrated checks, a second check printing company had me create another group of designs.
